On the dark side of Bang Saphan

Sad to report a robbery near the beach in Bang Saphan of the worse kind.
A very nice farang lady in a wheelchair was robbed by two punks on a motobike. It is bad enough that someone would rob anyone, but to be so low as to rob a person in a wheelchair is beyond me. Anyone who may know something about this please report to the police or better yet we could carry out some of our own justice. Nothing illegal maybe just break all their legs ....for starters

Very sad, there seems to be a spate of this occurring, a house rented by a couple of farangs was recently broken into while they were sitting outside it.

I hope something can be done about these teenage thugs before someone gets killed.

Another attack happened a week or so ago, a bunch of teens that were using the old 'bomb shelter' to take Yaba were raided by the cops. They assumed that a farang living in the vicinity had called them so proceeded to throw two explosive devices into his house.

Fortunately nobody was injured.

It is highly unlikely the police have or will do anything about what seems to be the same gang operating in this area.

I have heard that the "offspring" of one family are responsible for 80% of the crime in that area and those impersonating the police will not do a damn thing about it.

This little band of yobs have been at it again - motorcyles going missing and bars getting broken into in the Suan Luang area.

Maybe concerned citizens can have a collection to pay the police more than the family of these thugs do so they get off their brown butts and do some work so we can get the BS mafia drug gang locked up.

This is indeed disturbing news. I think there would be quite a few people who read this forum, and not necessarily post, who would be having second thoughts about moving on a semi ,or ,pemanent basis. Being possibly robbed or assaulted tends to be a total negative when what you are seeking is peace and quiet. Plenty of decent Thai people living in that area or do they have no influence with the police ?

This is a serious problem and the fact that it is a known group should make it easier to solve - if those with the guns and badges want to solve it.

Wishing that people be found floating in a river or that they are next to be robbed doesn't help a thing and only breeds more animosity between the few farangs that have decided to call BS home.
