Cocktail beach bar closes

Post by buksida » 08 Sep 2012 22:25

The Cocktail Bar on the beach near the Coral is closing, final day this Sunday (Sept 9), stock clearance party and BBQ.

With the closure of GK, Sakuna and now the Cocktail Bar there are only two places left on the beach to have a drink after dark.

This was a forced eviction, nothing to do with how well the business was going - it was a popular evening place to watch sports.

No need to watch the space, we all know who will open the next venue there. As I have always said never let a thai see you are making money as a farang or out you go

Spot on there bsb, that matches our train of thought, they will not fill the gap though so a farang-friendly evening watering hole is still needed.

For watching EPL, Sunrise were always happy to put it on and you'll probably have the bar to yourselves! A while ago now though (far too long).
