The low season this year hasn't actually been that low - places have been near to full over the past week or so, the word has got out!

Blame me too. I've recommended so many people to spend some time in BS,they have all loved it apart from the weather, can't please some people. Positive is that if more people come less places run the risk of closing !!!!

I wonder if all these mushrooms are being built by end user's or are they going to fill the bang saphan classified with the other over priced unsold homes that have graced the pages for years

bang saphan classified is always worth reading, especially if you want a good laugh on what people think their stuff is worth.......when something is for sale for 3-5 years and not sold, tells me the buying public thinks it is overpriced, nothing in this world is in reality worth moore than it can be sold for, not what the owner thinkgs its worth

Bangkok Post ran an article this week to say that over the last year visitations to Hua Hin are up 40%.
While those figured can't be easily verified it perhaps not surprising that an overflow has found BS.

Official figures into Phuket airport are staggering, why you would want to go there is beyond me but package tours seem to make up the bulk of bookings.

While things might be economically difficult in Europe it hasn't stopped the flow of people wanting a relatively cheap holiday here.

That remains Bangsaphan's biggest attraction at the moment, its relative cost compared to other places in Thailand. Unfortunately it wont last, prices are already creeping up - pushed mainly by greedy landlords and land speculators.
