no tuk tuks in BS or bus to beach or taxi except motor bike taxis or you can rent motorbikes at rae and tae s place , walk out of station and turn right a short way down on right

Unfortunately a lot of people have never,or seldom, ridden a motor bike and don't feel comfortable trying.Sometimes a motor cycle taxi guy meets the train but not sure how you find them if they are not there. The station master might know.Depending on where you are staying the owners might/will come and pick you up. I know Daeng Bungalows do but not sure about the others.

I'd like to rent a scooter, not motorbike - is that possible?

I'd also like to know where the bus from BSY lets you off in Bangkok? At what bus station? Or nearest Skytrain?

Thx

Ok, why not Bar, they didn't have scooters last year I think, or maybe i just didn't notice.

say, I'll be coming from Krabi, apparently there's a morning bus to BK - Does it actually stop at the Bus station in Bang saphan yai or on the highway somewhere?

I stayed at lola's last year - any new low budget places open up?

Thx

You can find rental bikes pretty much everywhere in BS.

Buses from the south will drop you off on the highway (they don't come into town) so you'll need to grab a moto-taxi from there.

There are no new budget places, only Lola's and Daeng's, both of which will probably be full at this time of year but are still worth a try.
