Coral and they have connections (and good power...)
The power company (PEA) is useless, Coral has its own private transformer, you will be on the public one unless you buy your own - which still won't help you when it goes out up the line (every third day at the moment).

Questions for the assembled hordes:
1) what kind of UPS do you use for your computers?
2) Do you put many items on "surge protectors" -- if so what do you use?
3) Where is best place to purchase these in BS area? or do you have to go to Hua-Hin?
4) Where is the closest--and where is the best---computer shop for printers/monitors/UPS etc?
1 - Standard 750 VA unit. But it has not prevented having to replace almost every component in a high-end PC that is just two years old (boxing up the RX570 graphics card to send back as I type this).
2 - Yes, have at least 6 of them but it makes no difference - when the local transformer that supplies this area explodes (very often), the power drops to a single phase (130 volts) which most appliances designed for 230v do not appreciate. It takes the PEA on average two hours to fix this - every time ... the same problem ... every few days.
3 - Nothing available in BS, but can order online.
4 - Hua Hin or online.
Tips:
Do not buy anything high-end/expensive as it will get fried within a few months.
If you need to work on a PC have a laptop as a backup and a mobile internet connection in addition to your hard-wired one (which also goes out very often).
Unplug/isolate anything expensive when you're not using it.
Invest in solar if you can - cheaper to add the wiring while you're building than afterward.
