Montri's B-Day

Post by dewdrop » 27 Aug 2009 18:12

A bit of a mean one to post as he's stated in no uncertain terms that he'd rather forget, but be advised:

Montri's Birthday on the 15th of September!

Please, all who can, buy him a 'Vitamilk" in the name of those who won't be able to make it to CoCoBar on the man's Special Day (he'll only be 21 twice)...

Thanks for that, will make the effort to go down there. And will also pass the information on to his local customers, as most of them do not read the forum!!

Thanx buksida (bawkiap) and thanx The Family. I know for certain that he prefers to forget his b-day but he must surely be human after all :)

buksida - please get him a few on me (we'll meet for sure, I'll give 'em back) !

The Family - i'm sorry that it'll be an effort for you but if you find the strength, please get him a few on me (I promise not to stay in Bang Saphan Guest House, but might just eat one of your Pizzas) !

Lively up this forum, give us many pictures and 'stories' of Montry's B-Day on the day - (even if it means yet more adverts' for Bang Saphan Guest House - how about a surprise 'pizza nite' at Montri's -a bar-b-que on the beach - sausages, ribs, burgers, etc. (all beef of course as the area is Muslim) - sponsored by BSGH -> think of the favourable sentiment - steak & kidney & french fries on the beach, etc. - how about something new on this forum to suggest the dynamism of the expat community in Bang Saphan ...

Had the opportunity to meet Montri and he struck me as being a very good bloke - just finished my hollies unfortunately so won't be able to make it for his b-day :( Could a good sole buy him a juice for me on the day?

It is also Chris's birthday on 16th, and says he would like to join in with Montri's birthday. So a few of us locals have got together and will be taking a few snacks down to Montri's on the 15th September around 5pm. So come on Guy's, down to Montri's next Tuesday and for those of you who will not be able to make it, we will make sure that Montri receives your well wishes and we will get some pics together of the event!

If you would like to jot down your names, We will pass your messages on! :D

The BBQ idea was mulled over but was abandoned because of the amount of ran we have been having recently, especially in the afternoon and early evening.

There will be sandwiches and other nosh provided by benevolent locals.

I look forward to seeing everybody that can make it.

A good night at Montri's. Fairly quiet, but a good atmosphere. A big thank you to Montri, who refused point blank to let anyone pay their bill.

Thanks to Chris & others for feeding us!

Still waiting for pictures!
