I am awaiting official confirmation, but I am 99.9% sure the Thai FA have set a crowd limit of 25% of stadium capacity, capped at 4,000 spectators.

[Edit] I put in Ratchaburi's new limit, as opposed to the leagues new limit.

Following on from the disgusting behaviour of Prachuap fans at Mitr Phol Stadium last week, something appeared on my Facebook Page as something I might like to see. It was a post congratulating the behavior of the deadly Prachuap supporters.

The above intrigued me, and I ventured on to the Prachuap FC Facebook Page to try to find the statement again, because the way it read, it seemed to be inciting violence. However, reading through the posts, the word deadly appears many times, but rather than inciting violence, I have come to the conclusion it is an innocent translation error.

Does anybody know what the word deadly should really say please?

I'm not going to engage in the attempt at sparking an argument on what is purely football tribalism and nothing more.

As for the word I would need to see the Thai version to be able to translate, as you know, I don't do Facebook.

Edit: Rethinking this as you appear to be reading a lot more into it than there is - it appears to be a mistranslation of the club's mascot which is called 'killer wasp'. Facebook is useless for translations - as it is for providing reliable and trustworthy information.

Thank you, 'killer wasp' could well be what they are referring to.

As for last week, in over 50 years of supporting football, I have witnessed rival fans attack opposition players twice. We were both there the first time, and fortunately, security intervened last week before somebody else was hospitalized. Attacking players is not football tribalism. I was quite incensed when the 'Deadly' fans were being praised for their work at Mitr Phol. However, when I read more, I guessed it was a bad translation. Hopefully, they were simply being praised for their vocal support, which was impressive (whilst illegal :D) under Covid rules.

The Prachuap fans were rightly upset last week, as were the Ratchaburi fans. However, it was nothing to do with the players, they were all victims of a useless referee and VAR. As usual, they did their best to ruin a good game of football. I am the first to admit the Ratchaburi player dived, and it should not have been a penalty in the first place. The Prachuap keeper played out of his skin, saving what on any other day would have been 4 dead cert goals.
