So you're saying they only want Thai customers?
If this is the case they should put signs up indicating such and not provide online booking options in English.

Re: Visa crackdown risks stranding expats in Myanmar
Thailand has been wanting to kick out the backpackers and visa-runners for years, with 20 million tourists per year now they can pick and choose - and they only want the rich ones.

New hi-so Thai resorts in Bangsapan
Noticed a lot of new resorts being opened up by rich Thais from Bangkok, you know the ones that dont really need the money but want something flashy to show their buddies. Anyway heard a few funny stories from a few in the last week - wont name names but you can probably work it out. One was a well ...

Re: What bastard tied this beautiful dog to a tree on the be
Well...I can tell you, *I* didn't create all these dogs, and neither did my fellow Homo Sapes. The dogs did that all by themselves. And they've left *us* with the problem: a large feral dog population, occasionally biting children, running people off the beach, spreading trash and disease, sometime...

The Coral also have trips to Ko Talu but they charge 4 times more than everyone else.

Bangsapan building boom
The peace has been shattered - what was once a quiet place close to nature now seems to be turning into one big construction site. I cycle around a lot and in recent months have seen buildings going up everywhere, the noise of which is enough to wake the dead. Ploys, Lolas, Apple, Seanery, Italay .....

Re: Bank books: the latest scam at Bangsaphan land office
To me it looks like discrimination against Thai people who marry foreigners, there once was a time when Thai women married to farangs could not buy land - is it going back to this?

Good to see someone is finally taking some action and making the beach safer for people, have they got those 2 big bastards next to Italay yet?

Re: Bank books: the latest scam at Bangsaphan land office
Just looks like another thought up scheme to extract easy tea money from the falangs, shame 'officials' in bangsapan are going down this route.

Re: Dog friendly accomodation
I would be very careful bringing your dog to bangsapan if you value it at all - feral dogs are a major problem here making some areas of the beach off limits as they roam in packs and attack both people and other dogs.

Re: Suan Luang Beach infrastructure wishlist
Turn it into Hua Hin why dont you. Next you'll be wanting car parks, Mcdonalds, jetskis (oh we already have them), a corrupt immigration office and thieving tourist police.
Bangsapan is fine as it is.

Deadsville, Bangsaphan
Looks like this high season will be a total washout this year, only a few days to Christmas and some places are empty! I have never seen it so quiet here in the high season, it looks like most tourists have cancelled due to the flooding in Bangkok. Feel sorry for those that need to make their living...
