Re: A trip to support Prachuap FC

Better than our recent league performance though we have no chance of beating Buriram, I don't think we're allowed to win that one!

Re: Dam Breach???

This has been posted on the local facebook group:

This particular reservoir is north of Ban Krut - so doesn't affect BS.

65712048_2578098308908915_4076302702710095872_n.jpg Yeah they replaced Caion and now we have nobody decent up front, our new French striker Mendy didn't do much on his debut. The first half we played very well and went forward aggressively. The second half was like watching a different team, almost...

Re: Trash Hero Bangsaphan: Suan Luang beach cleaning

Low season and rainy season now, very few people about, even fewer Trash Heroes so they will be suspending weekly cleanups until later in the year.

Re: A trip to support Prachuap FC

There is no doubting Ratchaburi were the better team on the day. Prachuap have had countless matches like this where we've outplayed the opponents and lost so its good to have one go our way!

Get a bid in for Doumbouya at Trat!

64940543_2563268857058527_1479291353555795968_n.jpg A well needed three points after a disappointing run recently. Ratchaburi dominated the first half and should be been ahead, their no.11 was a real handful. Prachuap picked up the pace after half time and scored early into it, it was pretty scrapp...

Re: Advantages of life in Bangsaphan

No Indian or Korean food in BS, but yes the local food is cheap and there is no tourist markup on meals or double priced menus. The lack of tourists has probably kept Bangsaphan closer to real Thailand as opposed to places like Hua Hin, Krabi or Chiang Mai which are now tailored to extract coin. Wak...

Re: A trip to support Prachuap FC

Watched it on TV, not keen on the drive back after those late kickoffs.

We played abysmally, worst performance of the season, gave the ball away countless times and our defense was a circus. Doumbouya played for Prachuap last season so we should have been well aware of his capabilities.

Advantages of life in Bangsaphan

suanluang.jpg The recent topic on dwindling tourism has got me thinking about an opposing one listing all the good things about living and visiting here. I'll kick it off but feel free to add to it ... 1) No inflated tourist prices - everything in BS is the same price for Thais and farangs 2) No ha...

Re: Deadsville, Bangsaphan

Many have moved out, the number of full time expats here has decreased by at least 50% over the past 2-3 years. There have been very few replacing them and those that do move here are hermits. At the moment there is only one dedicated bar in operation and three restaurants in the tourist area (I'm n...

Re: Deadsville, Bangsaphan

Welcome to the low season - you will rarely see another farang these days. All resorts and bungalow outfits are empty, as are the remaining restaurants that are open, and the beach. Domestic tourism seems to have picked up with all the new holidays but these tourists do not frequent local businesses...
