Re: Rent a motorbike for two month at Bankrut

These guys will deliver to Ban Krut for a two month rental - you'll need to call a week or so ahead to see if they have any bikes available, they get rented out quick in high season:

Re: Status of various things in Bangsaphan

So what's best idea to stop frying appliances? Don't live near the beach or buy your own transformer! You're looking at serious money for a automated voltage regulator and backup battery system for a whole house, you'll need an extra house to store the batteries! Its a two pronged problem; 1) overl...

Re: Status of various things in Bangsaphan

In regards to the internet---- This is what I'm hoping helps fix this over next couple years..... https://arstechnica.com/science/2019/11/watch-live-spacex-to-launch-its-second-batch-of-starlink-satellites/ this could make a place like BS ideal for the remote worker... :) just saying.... I always t...

I'll add that BS still beats other spots in Thailand and here is why: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2771

Re: Status of various things in Bangsaphan

I'll give you some honest responses rather than what you probably want to hear. 1) Electricity supply depends where you are - there are blackouts several times a week down near the beach, but if you're on the main road it is stable. 2) As above, patchy away from the main road and town, there is "fib...

Re: A trip to support Prachuap FC

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the game as the rugby semi final took precedence and it wasn't aired on TV. Thought it was in the bag when we were 2 up but I guess you guys stepped up the game in the second half so a good away result. Looking forward to next season and glad to see a new champion t...

Re: A trip to support Prachuap FC

Superb result, we were outplayed for the second half but managed to hold them off.

Amazing to think that just a few years ago we were watching Prachuap in division two playing Chumphon!

Re: A trip to support Prachuap FC

Better than our recent league performance though we have no chance of beating Buriram, I don't think we're allowed to win that one!

65712048_2578098308908915_4076302702710095872_n.jpg Yeah they replaced Caion and now we have nobody decent up front, our new French striker Mendy didn't do much on his debut. The first half we played very well and went forward aggressively. The second half was like watching a different team, almost...

Re: Trash Hero Bangsaphan: Suan Luang beach cleaning

Low season and rainy season now, very few people about, even fewer Trash Heroes so they will be suspending weekly cleanups until later in the year.

Re: A trip to support Prachuap FC

There is no doubting Ratchaburi were the better team on the day. Prachuap have had countless matches like this where we've outplayed the opponents and lost so its good to have one go our way!

Get a bid in for Doumbouya at Trat!

64940543_2563268857058527_1479291353555795968_n.jpg A well needed three points after a disappointing run recently. Ratchaburi dominated the first half and should be been ahead, their no.11 was a real handful. Prachuap picked up the pace after half time and scored early into it, it was pretty scrapp...

Re: Advantages of life in Bangsaphan

No Indian or Korean food in BS, but yes the local food is cheap and there is no tourist markup on meals or double priced menus. The lack of tourists has probably kept Bangsaphan closer to real Thailand as opposed to places like Hua Hin, Krabi or Chiang Mai which are now tailored to extract coin. Wak...
